Legal Adviser

Salary £20,451 – 23,994
35 hours per week.  Closing date: 20 Jun 2013

We urgently require an Advice Worker to join our Legal Advice Team. The role is to provide information, legal advice and immigration, nationality and asylum casework. Other duties include follow-up work arising from advice sessions and possible representation work at tribunals. Fluency in English and Mandarin are essential.

The successful candidate must have experience in immigration/asylum casework. We are looking for candidates who are at least OISC Level 1 or 2 qualified and/or LSC Level 2 or above.

Immigration Supervisor & Adviser

Salary: £28,536 – 33,942
35 hours per week.  Closing date: 12 Jun 2013

CIAC is recruiting a Supervisor to manage and develop a legal advice team specialising in immigration, nationality and asylum law practice. The Supervisor will have to ensure compliance with the Legal Services Commission’s civil work (Not-for-profit) contract requirements and performance targets and will also be involved in legal casework.

Applicants must have a minumum three years' experience of immigration casework, meet all relevant OISC requirements and accredited at minimum Level 2 of the LSC Accreditation Scheme and have passed the supervisory assessment. Fluency in English and Mandarin are essential (work references are required).
