A community-driven website operated on a not-for-profit community basis by volunteers aiming to provide a forum in which British-Born Chinese (“BBCs”) can share experiences, ideas and thoughts.

Chinese in Britain Forum

Established in 1986 and based in London, The Chinese in Britain Forum works to provide equal access to public resources and services for Chinese people living in the UK, and to assist the voluntary sector to participate effectively in voluntary activities and community development. They publish a quarterly newsletter which is available online.

Joint Council For The Welfare Of Immigrants

JCWI is an independent national voluntary organisation, campaigning for justice and combating racism in immigration and asylum law and policy. It provides free advice and casework, training courses, and a range of publications, as well as an advice line for specific queries on immigration, refugee or nationality related issues

London Chinese Community Network

A project funded by the Home Office, LCCN was formed to promote the unity and interests of the London Chinese voluntary and community sector. Its work includes community research, publishing, brokering partnerships, organisational capacity building and holding consultation conferences and community activities.

Westminster Domestic Violence Forum

Launched in 1997, WDVF works to eliminate domestic violence through improving multi-agency practice (the Forum has 70 member agencies) in order to better meet the needs of families from different communities in the City. The site offers information in Chinese for women who are victims of domestic violence.

Women's Aid

Women’s Aid is a national domestic violence charity that coordinates a wide range of projects nationwide aimed at preventing domestic violence.
